In the ms-iop device the german umlauts (in "Universiät") are broken in the metadata. They are not encoded as UTF-8. A good test to verify that is to open the SENT.log file generated by the device in Mozilla Firefox with UTF-8 encoding. |

I have an old Discovery Proxy (DPWS 1.0) running in my network. It replies to a new Hello message with a SOAP1.2 fault: wsa:MessageInformationHeaderRequired. The problem arises from the different addressing version. ws4d-gSOAP replies with a SOAP fault: Method 's12:Fault' not implemented: method name or namespace not recognized. |
